  • Wednesday night, Dec 6 @ 7:00 pm: Pre-Chanukah Women's Jelly Donut Challah Making  RSVP here
     
  • Thursday night, Dec. 7 @ 6:00 pm: Menorah Lighting in West Lakeview on Lincoln & Marshfield.  Live Music, Latkes, & doughnuts.
     
  • Friday Night, Dec. 8 @ 6:45 pm:  Connect with Young Jewish Professionals (20's and 30's) in the area.over a Chanukah themed Shabbat Dinner. Sign up here.
     
  • Saturday Night Night, Dec. 9 @ 6:30pm: JEWISH PRIDE! The car menorah parade - Drive all around Lakeview celebrating the holiday and bringing our Jewish Pride to everyone.
    Followed by Menorah lighting at the NEW Menorah at the corner of Clark/Halsted/Barry at 8:00 pm - Music & chocolate gelt. Click here to RSVP.
     
  • Sunday, Dec 10 11:30 - 12:30pm: Join Chanukah in Lego Land: Exciting Chanukah crafts, Make your own lego Menorah, Latke Making, Music & more! Only $15 per child. RSVP here.
     
  • Please note the Menorah workshop from the Home Depot has changed to the Chanukah in legolnad.
     
  • Monday Night, Dec 11 @ 5:45pm:  The MAIN celebration. Lighting a Giant Balloon Menorah, Show by The Jesse White Tumblers, 1000 coins gelt drop from fire truck, Hot Latkes & Doghnuts, live music and MORE. Joined by our state Senator & Alderman. Special Chanukah Songs by Chazzan Alberto Mizrahi.
    The annual grand Community Menorah lighting  The event will take place inside Chabad's main room, fire truck gelt drop will be at 6:30 pm outside Chabad.

  • Thursday Night, Dec 14 @ 7:00pm: YJP Chanukah party in conjunction with chabad's alumni from campuses all around the Midwest. Hosted at The Living Room 1630 N Milwaukee Ave.  Click here to RSVP.
     
  • Saturday Night, Dec. 16 @ 7:00 pm: Post Chanukah YJP Havdalah together with the Wrigleywille Moishe House. Music led by Yoni Eisenstein Click here for details.

Monday, Dec. 11 - The Annual Lakeview Menorah Lighting
Featuring: Giant Balloon Menorah, Show by The Jesse White Tumblers, 1000 coins gelt drop from fire truck, Hot Latkes & Donuts, live music and MORE

5:00 pm: Activities & crafts for children
5:30 pm: Show by Jesse White Tumblers 
6:00 pm: Balloon Menorah lighting & Chanukah Songs by Chazzan Alberto Mizrahi
6:15 pm: Special prayer for Israel - Honoring our modern day Maccabees 
6:30 pm: Gelt Drop from a fire truck!

We will also have yeshiva students standing on the corners of Belmont/Broadway/Diversey and by the CTA stations (Addison & Belmont) giving out hundreds of menorahs. Sunday-Tuesday 6-8pm.
They will also go knocking on as many homes they can visit to ensure everyone has a menorah this year.
