    We are excited to host the services for the first time in the beautiful, main sanctuary at Chabad. We invite you to experience a most incredible high holidays together with fellow community members.

    In keeping with Chabad’s welcoming policy, we’ve always provided ample seating for reserved and walk-in participants alike. We kindly request that all attendance reserve so we can plan accordingly.

    About our services:

    Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services at Chabad will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in the most meaningful way.

    Many of the prayers are recited by the congregation in unison, specifically in English, so that everyone can participate.
    Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service.
    The rabbi provides an English running commentary of explanatory and meaningful insights. Click here to learn more about our services.

    At Chabad no one is turned away due to lack of funds.

    Please note: by popular demand we will also be offering 15 minute Shofar blowing services on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, Sunday, September 13th at over 10 locations throughout Lakeview. Note: since Rosh Hashana is on Shabbos, we don't blow the shofar on Shabbat.

  • There is no cost to join for services.

    Suggested donation: Adult $180 YJP $100 Child $50

    If you are only attending for Yom Kippur
    suggested donation: $100
      

  • There is no cost to join any of the services or break-fast. 
    If you wish to help with the cost of the holidays or to sponsor a prayer book for $32 you can fill in the amount of your choice below:

  • Participation in all High Holiday programs is free. Consider a donation to help cover the costs of these and other wonderful and vital programs that Chabad Jewish Center brings to our community. Donations can be done below.

    We have created a display for the High Holidays called 'The Caring Wall' where every person who donates will be listed Including those who choose to be anonymous.
