For those who would like to join a outdoor service we will be providing shofar blowing's in multiple locations around Lakeview on both days of Rosh Hashanah.
We will also offer the Tashlich service on the first day of Rosh Hashana outdoors by the lake

Rosh Hashana - September 6-8:

September 6:
 

  • Candle Lighting: 6:55 pm
  • Evening Service: 7:15 pm 
  • Community dinner: 7:45 pm

September 7 (Day 1):

  • Shachris (morning) Service: 9:30 am - 1:00 pm (Shofar at 11:30)
  • "Shofar in the Street" around Lakeview: 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm (see schedule here)  
  • Mincha (afternoon) Service: 5:30 pm (at 'Boat Park Playground' near the lake)
  • Tashlich service & Shofar blowing at 'Boat Park Playground' near the Lake 5:45 pm
  • YJP Rosh Hashanah Holy Hour - Happy Hour: 6:45 pm -8:00 pm
  • Mariv (evening) Service: 8:00 pm
  • Candle Lighting after 7:56 pm  


September 8 (Day 2)

  • Shachris (morning): 9:30 am - 1:00 pm (Shofar at 11:30)
  • "Shofar in the street" around Lakeview: 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm (see schedule here)
  • Mincha: 6:45 pm
  • Chassidic melodies, final evening Services and Havdalah: 7:00 pm - 7:54 pm 
     

  Yom Kippur - September 15-16:

  • Fast Begins: 6:40 pm 
  • Kol Nidrei Services: 6:45 pm

September 16:

  • Morning Services: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Yizkor: 12:00 pm
  • 2nd Yizkor service, Sermon & Short Prayers 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm 
  • Mincha & Ni'ilah at: 5:00 pm

Fast Ends: 7:39 pm
Followed by individualized wrapped food and drink for the break-fast

Children program will be held in our multiple child friendly rooms. 
 
Children program will begin at
10:30 am  on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
