Shofar In The Street
Chabad East Lakeview is here for every Jew in our community to enable them to celebrate Rosh Hashanah in a safe, enjoyable and meaningful way.
In addition to our service at chabad with the Shofar blowing during services at 11:30 am (click here for more info about the complete services) Rabbi Dovid and a group of volunteers will be going around Lakeview to blow the Shofar at various locations.
If you are not able to make it to one of these, we will arrange for a volunteer to blow the Shofar at your home. Email Chabad at: [email protected] to arrange the time and location.
The main Shofar service will take place during the Tashlich service on Sunday, September 17 at 4:00 pm. There will be crafts for kids, apples to dip in honey, children's performance and more.
There is no charge for any of these services. Kindly rsvp to help plan
