If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go? Rome? Paris? Peru?

They say people travel to find themselves. Does Roman history or Parisian culture have anything to do with you and me?

I’m inviting you to join me for a weekend in a different world—a lively world that revolves around being Jewish.

Join me for a Shabbat in the Chassidic community of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, a Jewish world of synagogues, yeshivot, adorable mom-and-pop shops, superb kosher restaurants, and bustling supermarkets.

(Hundreds of Jews from Chabad Houses across the country and beyond will be there with us.)

This is the place where the Lubavitcher Rebbe lived and led the global Chabad movement. This is the movement’s spiritual hometown. It’s the community I come from.

This is the shtetl, 21st century edition: real, authentic, live Jewish culture that isn’t in a museum. This is a chance to see the kind of community your great-grandparents lived in.

I’m inviting you to join me for “Shabbat in the Heights” on May 1–3. I cannot recommend this trip enough.

We’ll taste Jewish life. We’ll learn. We’ll meet hundreds just like us.

The program includes some of the most sought-after Jewish teachers and speakers today. It also includes great food, a warm Shabbat meal with a friendly local family, tours of the local culture, history, and Jewish arts—like seeing a scribe write a Torah scroll—and more.

I’m joining this trip, and I’d love for you to join me there.

May 1–3, 2026

With early-bird pricing, the program fee is $399 (excluding airfare—we’ll share great flight deals).
